KARNATAKA STATE ELIGIBILITY TEST (KSET) FOR ASSISTANT PROFESSOR

The scheduled Date of Examination i.e., 21-Jun-2020 is now postponed. The new date of the examination will be announced later.
The Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) Center, University of Mysore, Mysore is the Nodal Agency recognized by the UGC, New Delhi for conducting the Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) for Assistant Professor since 2010 [No. F.7-1/2005(NET) dated 7th September 2010] to conduct one test. This center is re-accreditated for fourth time on 2020 [No. F.7-16/2012(NET/SET) dated 14th January 2020] to conduct three tests from 2020 to 2022.
Strictly adhering to the guidelines stipulated by the UGC-NET Bureau, KSET center, University of Mysore will be conducting State Eligibility Test once in a year to make rigorous merit-based selection for the entry level of teaching profession. Currently KSET is conducting test in 41 subjects at eleven (11) Nodal Centers spread across the Karnataka State.
Candidates who qualify the KSET will be governed by the rules and regulations for recruitment of lectures / Assistant Professors of the concerned University / Colleges / Institutions (Government / Aided / Private) in Karnataka State. The Certificate issued for the KSET eligible candidate from this office will have lifetime validity.
Important Dates:
1. Notification date : 01st February 2020
2. Submission of On-line Application commences from : 03rd February 2020
3. Last date for submission of online application : 06th March 2020
4. Last date for submission of online application with late fee of Rs.250/- : 05th June 2020
5. Date of Examination : Rescheduled date will be announced.
NOTE: PRINTOUT OF ONLINE APPLICATION FORM SENT DIRECTLY TO THE KSET CENTER, MYSORE WILL NOT BE ENTERTAINED.
CANDIDATES CAN APPLY FOR KSET-2020 IN “ONLINE” MODE ONLY. THE APPLICATION IN ANY OTHER MODE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. SUBMISSION OF ONLINE APPLICATION FORM MAY BE DONE BY ACCESSING KSET WEBSITE http://kset.uni-mysore.ac.in

Late fee of Rs.250/- has to be paid by candidates who apply online applications after the last date till the extended period.
Mode of Payment: By clicking on the Payment button at KSET site, select the payment category (General/Cat IIA, IIB, IIIA, IIIB/ Cat-I, SC, ST, PWD) and enter the data in all the fields available carefully. Verify the details entered and amount to be paid and proceed to make payment via State Bank MOPS (Multi Option Payment System).

iii. All banks Credit Card
iv. State Bank Buddy e-Wallet payment
v. Cash payment can be done by clicking SBI branch, challan can be generated online and payment can be made at all the SBI branches PAN India (Cash/only SBI cheques are accepted)
Please note:
i. Fee submitted by any other mode like Money Order /Demand Draft/IPO etc., will NOT be accepted.
ii. Fee once paid will NOT be refunded under any circumstances.
