Eligibility:
Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination of this University or an equivalent examination with at least 50% marks in aggregate of English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
OR
Diploma in Engineering of this University with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
Selection Process: Through Admission Test. Allocation of Branch shall be offered through Counselling.
Test Paper Details: There shall be one objective type paper of 150 marks comprising 150 questions on Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics.

Diploma in Engineering of this University with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
Selection Process: Through Admission Test
Test Paper Details: There shall be two papers of equal weightage
Paper I: Common with B.Tech. applicants
Paper II (Architecture Aptitude Test): It shall contain some descriptive questions and Test of Drawing.

Additional Information: Candidates applying for admission to B.Arch. can also apply for admission to B.Tech. on the same Application Form without paying additional Admission Test fee. However, they should clearly indicate their choices, in order of preference, in the Application Form.

Eligibility: Diploma in Engg. in the relevant branch (see below) of study or an examination recognised by the University as its equivalent with 50% marks.
Selection Process: Through Admission Test.
The Total Merit will have the following components:
a) Written Test : 100 Marks
b) Professional Experience(if any) : 25 Marks
Note: Candidates having Professional Experience of Govt. / Semi-Govt. / Public Sector Undertakings after passing Diploma in Engineering will be additionally awarded 2.5 marks for each year of professional experience subject to a maximum of 25 marks.
Test Paper Details: There shall be one objective type paper of 100 marks comprising 100 questions with 25 questions on Physical Sciences and 75 questions on relevant Engg. Sciences. The test paper may also be practical application oriented.

PROCEDURE OF PAYMENT OF APPLICATION FEE:
Payment of Course Fee: There are following 3 modes of payment of course Fee;
i. Bank Demand Draft
ii. Bank Challan
iii. Online Payment
Bank Demand Draft: Bank Draft should be drawn in favor of ‘Finance Officer, AMU, payable at Aligarh'.
Bank Challan:
1. Bank Challan facilities are available through ICICI Bank, Extension Counter, Aligarh(Adjacent to SBI, AMU, Aligarh) and Canara Bank, AMU, Branch, Aligarh.
2. Candidates are requested to choose 'ICICI & Canara Bank' from bank drop down list and enter the Challan No. in DD No. column, in case they are paying through bank Challan.
3. Physically Challenged/Blind candidates need not to deposit any Application Fee and may write '0000' in DD column.
Online Payment:
Online payment can be done either by Net Banking or Credit Card/ Debit Card.
Candidates who use Online mode for payment and do not get link for downloading the PDF copy of the duly filled in Form, are requested to wait for its renewal which generally takes about 30 minutes.
If it is not available even after 24-48 hrs they may contact the Admission Section, via helpdesk numbers or in person and tell their name, father name, course applied for and date of payment. If their payments are successful, the details for downloading the PDF copy of the form shall be emailed to them on the email IDs provided in the Application Form. However, candidates are requested not to take risk on the last dates and use offline mode (DD/Challan).
