Admission to B.Tech Program 2017

Noida Campus: Admission to all B.Tech programs of Amity University, Noida campus is scheduled on 14th July 2017 through a Computer Based Test (CBT). And will be held in the Noida campus at Sector-125, Noida, U.P.

Scheduling of the exam is open on the Microsite

Important Instructions:

i. Admission will be made purely on merit, however, the candidate also needs to fulfill the minimum eligibility required for the program applied.

ii. In calculation of aggregate percentage, Physical Education, Fine Arts, Performing Arts, Vocational, Non Written subjects will not be considered.

iii. Candidates having compartment will not be offered admission.

Admit Card:

Step 1: Log in to Amity Microsite.

Step 2: Schedule your test by submitting date and time slot to receive the Admit Card on the Microsite.

i. Print out of the Admit card is to be carried to the test centre .

ii. Candidates must show on demand his/her admit Card to the Invigilator.

iii. No Show Fees: Students Who take dates and do not show up, will be charged Rs.700/- for getting another date.

iv. Candidate is allowed to leave the Test Center ONLY after clicking on to “END TEST” tab that appears on the screen.

v. Use of Electronic/Manual Calculator is prohibited during the exam.

Pattern of AmityJEE Test:

i. The test contains four sections with objective type Multiple Choice Questions. All sections are compulsory

Section 1 : General English (15 questions)
Section 2 : Physics (25 questions)
Section 3 : Chemistry (25 questions)
Section 4 : Mathematics/ Biology (25 questions)

Note : In Section 4 students will have to attempt either Mathematics/ Biology as per the eligibility of the program applied.

ii. Total no. of questions in one set are 90 with maximum time limit 120 minutes.

iii. Four marks would be awarded for each correct entry and one mark will be deducted for every wrong entry.

iv. No marks would be awarded if more than one choice has been selected for any question.

v. Approximately 1.25 minute per question on an average is reserved for solution of each question.

Submitting the Application Form:

Incase of Offline Forms : Duly filled in Application Forms together with photograph & a DD of Rs. 1100/- in favor of “Amity Form” payable at Delhi/New Delhi (in case of downloaded form) should be submitted / sent to the respective campus.

Direct Admission Process: Student securing 80%+ agg. in Class XII (CBSE/ISC/State-Boards of 2016/2017) are exempted from selection process. Selection will be only on the basis of Amity Application Form.

Offer of Admission:

A message will be sent to you to intimate announcement of result on your Admission Microsite. This will be for information only and should not be taken as official communication for selection.

All selected candidates will get intimation of their selection through an Admission Letter which will be made available on Admission microsite for downloading. Details regarding payment of fees at the time of admission, allotment of hostel and date, time and venue for commencement of the academic session will be mentioned in the admission letter.

Offer of admission will be valid only for the specific program opted by the candidate as well as for the same academic session. Admission is given provisionally as specified in the letter. The offer of admission will automatically stand cancelled if the conditions are not fulfilled by the stipulated time.

There is a possibility that the Admission Committee recommends your admission in a category/program/campus for which you have not applied in the application Form. In such cases an option will be given to you on your admission microsite informing you of the change and you may give your consent for the same. The selection letter will be available on Admission Microsite for downloading only after receiving your consent.

Failure to pay the fee within the specified date or report for classes after payment of fee will entail cancellation of admission.
