Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination 2016
The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examinaion for admission in various professional courses in different Engineering colleges, Medical colleges, Agriculture colleges under the Govt.of Bihar is being conducted by Bihar Combined Entrance Cometitve Examination Board as constituded under the Bihar Combined Entrance Cometitve Examination Act, 1995.
Applications on prescribed forms are invited for appearing in the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (BCECE)-2016 for selection of candidates for admission to the FIRST YEAR of the following Degree Courses:
A. Engineering / Pharmacy Stream: Degree Courses in the Govt. / Govt. Recognised Technical Institutions of Bihar and Technical Institutions outside Bihar (State Quota).
B. Medical Stream: MBBS/ BDS/ BAMS/ BHMS/ BUMS/ B.Ph.T./ B.Th.O. in Government Colleges of Bihar and in other similar courses of this stream.
C. Agriculture Stream including Biotechnology: Degree Courses of Rajendra Agricultural University, Pusa and Bihar Agricultural University, Sabour.
The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination 2016 will be held in two stages. The First Stage Examination is scheduled to be held on 17/04/2016 and the Date of Second Stage Examination is scheduled to be held on 15/05/2016.
BCECE 2016 Important Dates:
i. Online Registration Starting Date: 01.02.2016
ii. Online Registration Closing Date: 28.02.2016 (11.59 P.M.)
iii. Last date of payment through challan: 02.03.2016
iv. Last date of payment through Net Banking / Debit Card / Credit Card with final submission of the online Application Form of Registered candidate: 05.03.2016 (11.59 P.M.)
v. Online Editing of Application Form: 06.03.2016 to 11.03.2016 (11.59 P.M.)
vi. The hard copy of the online submitted application form (Part-A & Part-B) alongwith paid Bank Challan & enclosures dispatched by Registered /Speed Post must reach at the specified address latest by: 19.03.2016 (5.00 P.M.)
vii. Issue of Online Admit Card (1st Stage): 21.03.2016
viii. Proposed date of Examination: 1st Stage - 17.04.2016, 2nd Stage - 15.05.2016
Application Form:
- Application form and prospectus set for BCECE can be obtained by sending Demand draft to BCECE Board office.
- Payment of BCECE application fee by Bank Draft will be accepted.
- Requisite BCECE application fees is to be paid on any nationalised Bank at Patna.
- A maximum of 20 application forms may be obtained on one Bank Draft. The Bank Draft must be in favour of Controller of Examination, B.C.E.C.E. Board (BCECE).
- Last date for receiving Demand Draft February, 2016
- Completed BCECE application forms must be sent by registered post / speed post only and must reach the following latest by March, 2016:

Application Fee: The category wise application fees are mentioned below. These fees can be paid via Credit/Debit card or bank Challan
General and OBC categories: Rs. 600/-
SC and ST categories: Rs. 330/-
General category Candidates in PCMB (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology): Rs.730/-
SC and ST category candidates in PCMB (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology): Rs. 365/-

1. PHYSICS
2. CHEMISTRY
3. MATHEMATICS
4. BIOLOGY
The paper for this examination is divided in two stages. They are as follows:
First Stage:
i. The first Stage exam will consist of one paper consisting of 200 questions
ii. The paper will be separated into three sections; Physics, Chemistry and Biology carrying 50 marks per section
iii. Each correct answer will consist of carry 4 marks
Second Stage:
i. The Second Stage exam will consist of three papers for each subject i.e. Physics, Chemistry and Biology
ii. For each correct answer, 4 marks will be given
iii. Negative marking is there in the paper.
