Bharath University Admissions 2017
BEEE 2017 is an All India Engineering Entrance Examination Conducted by Bharath University for admission of B.Tech degree Programme through single window counseling.
B.Tech Program:
i. The admission will be purely on the basis of the performance in the Bharath Engineering Entrance Examination (BEEE) conducted by Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research (BIHER).
ii. The candidates short-listed based on their performance in the entrance examination will be called for the counseling to be held at the BIHER.
B.Arch. Program:
i. Admission to B.Arch. program will be based on the aggregate of marks secured in the qualifying examination & NATA score.
ii. The meritorious candidate list will be drawn giving 50% weightage to aggregate of total marks secured in qualifying examination & 50% weightage to NATA score.
iii. Based on the ranking, admissions will be offered to the candidate.
M.Tech. Program: Admission to this program will be on the basis of performance in the Bharath Graduate Engineering Entrance Test (BGEET) conducted by BIHER. However candidate with valid GATE score can also apply and will be considered for admission. Merit list will be prepared and candidates will be called for counseling.

BEEE 2017 PPT (Paper & Pencil Test) : 22nd January 2017

Last Date for Receipt of Applications : 01st April 2017
BEEE 2017 PPT Date of Examination : 16th April 2017
BEEE 2017 CBT Date of Examination : 16-25th April 2017
Results
PHASE-I : 13th February 2017
PHASE-II : 03rd May 2017
HOW TO APPLY: There are 3 ways to apply to any one of the programs in Faculty of Engineering and Technology :
i. To apply Online
ii. If downloaded Application, The downloaded PDF application form has to be filled and couriered along with DD for Rs 500 drawn in favour of Bharath University payable at Chennai either to University (or) to the Corporate Office. Click here to download the application
iii. Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research (BIHER) Campuses and Offices
The complete application should be sent to the university so as to reach before the last date specified.
ELIGIBILITY:
B.Tech.: A pass in 10+2 or its equivalent with minimum 50% aggregate in Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry. For Bio Enginering Departments a Pass in 10+2 or its equivalent with Minimum 50% aggregate in Physics Chemistry & Mathematics/Biology.
B.Arch.: A pass in 10+2 or its equivalent having a minimum total aggregate of 50% with English and Mathematics as subjects of study or 10+3 Diploma (Any Stream) recognized by Central/State Government with 50% aggregate marks.. A pass in National Aptitude Test in Architecture(NATA) conducted by the council of Architecture. How ever, the candidates have to apply in the prescribed application form for admission to B.Arch. Program.
M.Tech.: Any B.E./B.Tech or its equivalent examinations approved by UGC/AICTE in appropriate branch with at least 60% marks in the aggregate or equivalent CGPA are eligible for respective courses.
Scheme of Examination:
(i) PAPER AND PENCIL TEST (PPT) - BEEE 2017
(ii) COMPUTER BASED TEST (CBT) - BEEE 2017
Pattern of Question paper:
Part 1: English 10 questions with a total weightage of 10 marks
Part 2: Physics 30 questions with a total weightage of 30 marks
Part 3: Chemistry 30 questions with a total weightage of 30 marks
Part 4: Mathematics 30 questions with a total weightage of 30 marks
Part 4: Biology 30 questions with a total weightage of 30 marks (Only for Biology Students)
No Negative mark for wrong answer
Total weightage 100 marks
Results:
(i) Merit List A merit list will be prepared based on the total marks secured in the BEEE 2017.
(ii) Announcement of Result The examination results will be available at website: www.bharathuniv.ac.in for Phase-I on 13th Feb 2017 or as per the notification. For Phase-II on 3rd May 2017 or as per the notification
(iii) There is no provision to send the marks of the candidates (selected or unselected) by post.
