Entrance Test 2018 (SET / SLAT / SEED / SITEEE):
Candidates aspiring to join B.A. LLB / B.B.A LL.B / B.Des / BCA / B.B.A (IT) / B.A.(MC) / B.Sc(Eco)- Honours. / B.A. (Liberal Arts) / B.Sc. (Libral Arts) / B.Sc (Culinary Arts) / B.Tech programmes offered by institutes of Symbiosis International (Deemed University) have to take the common, mandatory online Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) 2018. From this year onwards, SET - Law test will be known as Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT), SET - Design test as Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design (SEED), SET - Engineering as SIT Engineering Entrance Exam (SITEEE). SET - General will continue as SET. These will be conducted in an online mode across various cities of India.
A candidate needs to register for Online SET / SLAT / SEED / SITEEE 2018 & also register for the institutes offering his/ her choice of programmes by paying separate programmes registration fees. If shortlisted, he/she would then need to attend the further admission process conducted by each of these institutes individually.

The duration of each test is of 150 minutes.
Note that no extra time will be given for candidates who report late at the test centre.

All tests (SET/SLAT/SEED/SITEEE) are objective in nature.
Each question has 4 responses. Candidate should choose an appropriate response.
There is no negative marking for wrong answers.
All sections are mandatory.
Registration Process: The Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) is a common online test for the admission processes at the undergraduate institutes of Symbiosis International (Deemed University) established as under Section 3 of the UGC Act 1956 vide notification No.F.9.12/2001 U.3 of the Govt. of India. In the year 2002 there were 3 constituent institutes of SIU. Subsequently ten more iinstitutes of Symbiosis have been brought under the ambit of the Symbiosis International Deemed University vide notification No.F.9.12/2006-U.3 (A).
IMPORTANT:
Till last year, the SET umbrella comprised of different papers, SET - Law, SET - Design, SET - General and SET - Engineering.
From this year onwards, SET - Law test will be known as Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT), SET - Design test as Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design (SEED), SET - Engineering as SIT Engineering Entrance Exam (SITEEE). SET - General will continue as SET.

Modes of Payment:
The candidate may pay through i) Billdesk Gateway ii) Indian Bank Gateway iii) Demand Draft.
Pay the Entrance Test fee of Rs.1750/- for each test. If you are registering for one test in the morning (SLAT/SEED) and one test in the afternoon (SET/SITEEE), the fees are Rs. 3500 (From January 29, 2018 to April 14, 2018).
PAYMENT THROUGH DEMAND DRAFT: Submit a Demand Draft (DD) of Rs. 1750/- for ONE Test (morning OR afternoon) OR Rs. 3500/- for TWO Tests (one from morning session and one for afternoon session) from any Nationalized Bank in favour of “Symbiosis Test Secretariat” payable at Pune.
Choose the mode of Payment as 'DD Payment' in "Make Payment" Tab. Take a print of the payment advice form, fill in the DD Details, sign and send it along with the DD to the Symbiosis Test Secretariat only at:

The Symbiosis Test Secretariat will authenticate the details of Demand Draft and will send you an email confirming the payment. Only after the realisation of payment, would you be able to view your Admit Card.
IMPORTANT: SET / SLAT / SEED / SITEEE 2018 fee is non-refundable.
Admit Card:
i. SET / SLAT / SEED / SITEEE 2018 Admit Card should be printed (color printouts only. B & W printouts will not be accepted) from the SET website [set-test.org ] which will be available from Saturday, April 21, 2018, till Saturday, May 05, 2018.
ii. If candidate has selected both the sessions (morning and afternoon) they should carry two different Admd Cards - one is for morning session and second is for afternoon session.
iii. For the Morning Session (Law and Design Test), reach the test centre latest by 7.30 a.m to allow for sufficient time for biometric data capture at the test centre. The test will start at 9.30 a.m. After 09.45 a.m., no candidate will be allowed to appear for the Morning Session Test. Note that no extra time will be given for candidates who report late at the test centre.
iv. For the Afternoon Session (General and Engineering Test), reach the test centre latest by 12:30 p.m to allow for sufficient time for biometric data capture at the test centre.. The test will start at 2:30 p.m. After 02.45 p.m., no candidate will be allowed to appear for the Afternoon Session Test. Note that no extra time will be given for candidates who report late at the test centre.
