UPES Engineering Aptitude Test - 2019
The University of Petroleum & Energy Studies (UPES)
Eligibility Criteria:
i. B.Tech Programs: Minimum 60% marks at Higher & Senior Secondary level (10th& 12th) and Minimum 60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics at Senior Secondary level (12th).
ii. B.Tech+LL.B(Hons.) Programs: Minimum 50% marks at Higher & Senior Secondary level (10th& 12th) and Minimum 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics at Senior Secondary level (12th).
Age Criteria: Only candidates whose date of birth falls on or after October 1, 1997 are eligible to apply for admission. Date of Birth as recorded in the SecondaryEducation Board only will be taken as authentic.
Admission Criteria: Examination Pathway (80% seats) - B. Tech admissions through UPES Engineering Aptitude Test (UPESEAT) 2019-20 followed by Centralized Counseling.

Admissions through JEE - Minimum 60% marks in class 10th, 60% marks in class 12th and also have an aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Maths (PCM) in class 12th.
JEE main score will be declared after 2019 JEE mains results.
Scholarships:
All India Category
i. Eligibility criteria - 80% marks in class 10th and 12th with 85% in PCM
ii. 50% tuition fee waiver on 10% seats in each program in first year for CBSE, ICSE & State board pass out students
iii. The Scholarship will be renewed in the Second Semester provided the student obtains SGPA of 8/10.
iv. Scholarship in subsequent years will be as per scholarship policy of the University
Uttarakhand Domicile Special Scholarships
Eligibility Criteria:
i. Minimum 80% marks in each of 10th, 12th class and PCM for B.Tech.
ii. 150 toppers from UK board
iii. Merit order allotment of 1 seat per program.
iv. The seats reserved under this category will be within the 15% reservation for Uttarakhand Domicile students.
v. Should have “Sthai Niwas Praman Patra” (Permanent Residence Certificate)
vi. Students will be entitled only for 1 scholarship at a time (either through Uttarakhand Board Merit or through Uttarakhand Domicile category)
Scholarship:
i. 25% of tuition fee for Boys and 35% for Girl students in first year
ii. The Scholarship will be renewed in the Second Semester provided the student obtains SGPA of 8/10
iii. Scholarship in subsequent years will be as per scholarship policy of the University
Candidates placed in compartment are not eligible for admission to any program of study in the University.
Note: Candidates applying under this category would be required to produce the original “SthaiNiwasPramanPatra” during the day of admission failing which their candidature shall stand cancelled. Seats remaining unfilled by the stipulated date in this category shall be treated as unreserved
