Admission shall be granted to the MBA / MBA (IB) / PG Diploma a in Islamic Banking and Finance Courses on the basis of the performance in the AMU MBA Written Admission Test, Interview / Aptitude Assessment and Group Discussion.

Candidates shall be called for Interview / Aptitude Assessment and Group Discussion on the basis of the performance in the Test.

For the candidates who qualify Aligarh Muslim University written test, appearing in Interview / Group Discussion is compulsory to become eligible for admission, if offered.

Course of Study:

1. Master of Business Administration (MBA): 4 Semesters
2. Master of Business Administration (MBA) International Business (IB): 4 Semesters
3. PG Diploma in Islamic Banking and Finance: 2 Semesters

Qualification: Bachelors degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate.

Selection Process: Through Admission Test. Admission shall be offered through Counselling.

The Total Merit will have the following components:
a) Written Test : 200 Marks
b) Interview/Aptitude Assessment/Group Discussion : 50 Marks

Note: Candidates shall be called for Interview / Aptitude Assessment / Group Discussion on the basis of the performance in the written test. For the candidates who qualify written test, physical presence in the Interview / Aptitude Assessment / Group Discussion is compulsory to become eligible for selection.

Test Paper Details:

There shall be one objective type paper of 200 marks comprising 200 questions on (i) Environmental Awareness (ii) Quantitative and Numerical Ability (iii) Comprehension and Verbal Ability (iv) Reasoning & Intelligence (v) Data Analysis and Interpretation.

Additional Information:

There shall be a Combined Admission Test for admission to MBA, MBA (IB) and P.G. Diploma in Islamic Banking & Finance. Candidates applying for MBA can also apply for admission to MBA (IB) and P.G. Diploma in Islamic Banking & Finance on the same Application Form without paying any additional Admission Test Fee. However, they should clearly indicate their choices, in order of preference, in the Application Form.

PROCEDURE FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION FORM:

1. Fill up the ONLINE Application Form by following the instructions given above. Take the Printout of the PDF Generated Application Form on A-4 Size paper (applying ONLINE) OR Download the appropriate Application Form from the website meant for the course for which the candidate wishes to apply and get it printed on A-4 size paper. Fill up the Application Form by following the instructions given above in CAPITAL letters using black ball point pen (applying OFFLINE)

2. Put your thumb impression, signature and paste your recent photographs at the designated place on the Application Form.

3. Attach the appropriate Demand Draft along with other relevant document(s) with the Application Form and do not fold or multilate it in any way.

4. Application Form (PDF Generated copy) must be submitted by hand or through Registered Post / Speed Post / Courier in a separate envelope for each course of study so as to reach the respective offices as mentioned against each course of study.up to 5:00 PM on or before the last date of receipt.
