(For M.B.A., M.C.A. & M.E./M.Tech./M.Arch./M.Plan Degree Progremmes)

Applications for Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) 2017 conducted by Anna University, Chennai on behalf of Government of Tamil Nadu from candidates who seek admission to (i) MBA (ii) MCA, and (iii) M.E. / M.Tech / M.Arch / M.Plan Degree Programmes for the year 2017-18.
Programmes of Study:
a) Master of Business Administration (MBA)
b) Master of Computer Applications (MCA)
c) Master of Engineering (M.E) / Master of Technology (M. Tech) /Master of Architecture (M. Arch)/Master of Planning (M .Plan)
TANCET 2017 Important Dates:
Commencement of Registration of Application through Online only: 29th January 2017
Last Date for Registration of Application Form: 20th February 2017
Download of TANCET Hall Ticket : 14th March 2017
Date of Entrance Test:
MCA: 25th March 2017 (10.00 am to 12.00 noon)
MBA: 25th March 2017 (02.30 pm to 04.30 pm)
ME/M.Tech /M.Arch/M.Plan: 26th March 2017 (10.00 am to 12.00 noon)
Result and Marks sheet : 11th April 2017
Application:
Candidates have to submit only one application for the Entrance Test for all the above PG Programmes
The candidates have to pay a fee of Rs.500/- (Rs.250/- for SC/SCA/ST Candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu on production of a copy of Permanent Community Certificate) as entrance test fee for any one of the Programmes either (1) MBA or (2) MCA or (3) ME/M.Tech / M.Arch / M.Plan
If a candidate desires to appear for more than one programme, for every additional programme, he/she has to pay Rs.500/- (Rs.250/- for SC/ST Candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu) along with the filled-in application
Candidates can register only through online by logging on to www.annauniv.edu/tancet2017. The procedure for registration is available in Anna University web portal.
