FIRST YEAR and SECOND YEAR LATERAL ENTRY (RMCAAT 2017)

INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE CANDIDATES

ONLINE PROCEDURE FOR COUNSELLING:

1. Only online application will be accepted.

2. The candidate has to follow the given process for filling online application form.

3. The RMCAAT 2017 application form is to be submitted online by following the instructions provided in this Information booklet and web portalof RMCAAT 2017. The candidate must fill carefully, all details as required in the online application form.

4. First of all candidate has to register himself by entering his/ her Name, Father‟s Name and DOB on our website www.rmcaatonline.com. After registration, apayment invoice will be generated with a unique challann umber. Using this unique challan number, application fee should be deposited ate-Mitra Kiosk or CSC. There is no other way or agency for the submission of this fee.

5. At e-Mitra centre the candidate has to submit his/her Name, Father‟s Name, DOB and challan number along with application fee Rs. 1200/-(One Thousand Two Hundred only) only and Rs. 5/- extra for E-Mitra Charges.

6. After depositing application fee, he/she will get a receipt in which a twelve digit token number will be given, which is essential.

7. The application fee deposited for RMCAAT 2017 is neither refundable nor transferable or adjustable for future RMCAAT or any other counseling.

8. The candidate must assure that his/her name, date of birth and father‟s name submitted ate-Mitra centre is correct and strictly as per their Xth Mark sheet/ Certificate. Once the e-Mitra receipt had generated, any change will not be possible and he/she has to resubmit the details with depositing the same amount (Rs. 1200/-) again. RMCAAT 2017 will not responsible in such cases. Thus the candidates are advised to bring his/her Xth mark sheet /certificate at the time of filling the application form as well as at e-Mitra centers.

9. Now, after depositing the application fee, the candidate has to fill application form by using unique 12 digit token number on our website www.rmcaatonline.com by filling required details correctly.

10. Date of submission of the online application form for

a. For MCA I Year
1. NIMCET-2017 score basis from 01.06.2017 to upto midnight of 11.06.2017
2. Graduation basis from 20.06.2017 to upto midnight of 18.07.2017.

b. MCA II Year (Lateral Entry) 20.06.2017 to 05.07.2017 up to midnight for the candidates applying on BCA/BSc (CS/IT) basis

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

A. Eligibility criteria for admission in first year of MCA:

The candidate having recognized bachelor‟s degree of minimum 3 years duration with mathematics at 10+2 or at graduate level with at least 50% marks in aggregate (45 % in case of reserve category) without any approximation from recognized University.

Note: A candidate must fulfil eligibility on or before the date of form filling. For those who have applied on the basis of NIMCET-2017 score, their eligibility must be fulfil on or before 31.07.2017.

B. Candidates seeking admission through NIMCET-2017 score

However the candidate appearing in the final year of graduation examination and having valid NIMCET-2017 score, will also be permitted to appear in the counselling but their admission will be provisional, subjected to furnishing the qualifying examination with the prescribed eligibility by 31th, July 2017 or as decided by Govt. of Rajasthan from time to time. They will be required to submit all the necessary documents at the allotted institute.

Note: The last date 31st July 2017, of submitting documents is valid only for those students who have applied on the basis of NIMCET-2017 score only.

C. Eligibility criteria for admission in second year of MCA through Lateral entry :

The Candidate having recognized bachelor‟s degree of minimum 3 years duration in BCA/ B.Sc. (IT/ Computer Science) with Mathematics as a subject at 10+2 or at graduation level with at least 50 % marks in aggregate (45 % in case of reserve category) without any approximation from recognised university.

RMCAAT 2017 is open to all Indian citizens but preference will be given to the candidates of Rajasthan state domicile.

APPLICATION FEE FOR ONLINE COUNSELLING OF RMCAAT 2017:

Fees: A candidate will have to deposit a sum of Rs. 1200/- against application form fees (Non Refundable).Candidates will have to contact any e-Mitra / CSC kiosk center authorized by the Government of Rajasthan and deposit a sum of Rs.1200/- and e-Mitra service charges ( Rs. 5/- extra). Candidates may also deposit their fee by registering them self on e-Mitra portal.
