AIAPGET 2017 is an all India ranking examination to various AYUSH MD/MS Courses in Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha & Homeopathy systems of medicine.

No other entrance examination, either at state or institution level, shall be valid for admission to MD/MS Courses in Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha & Homeopathy systems of medicine w.e.f. 2017 academic session.

IMPORTANT DATES:

Online registration and Application : 27th June 2017 – 15th July 2017
Issue of admit cards : 24th July 2017
Exam Date : 6th August 2017
Availability of online Answer key : 9th August (9am) to 10th August (4pm) 2017
Declaration of Result : 23rd to 26th August 2017

SCOPE OF AIAPGET 2017:

1. AIAPGET 2017 will be a single entrance examination namely ‘All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test 2017’ for admission to Postgraduate AYUSH Courses for the academic session 2017-18 which will include the following:

All India (Open/Other states) and State quota seats for admission to MD/MS Courses in Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha & Homeopathy system of medicine for all AYUSH Colleges, Institutions & Universities/ Deemed Universities all across the country.

2. No AYUSH Colleges, Institutions / Universities/ Deemed Universities shall be conducting any separate entrance exam for admission to AYUSH MD/MS Courses for the academic session 2017-2018.

3. AIIA/MoA does not verify the information provided by the candidates during online registration and hence candidature will be purely provisional subject to fulfillment of eligibility criteria of CCIM/CCH/State/Universities/Institutions/Deemed Universities concerned.

4. AIIA / MoA has no role in counselling.

Concerned State AYUSH Authority (s) / Counselling Authority(s) of the States/UT/ Universities/ Deemed University /AYUSH Colleges/ Institutes will conduct counseling for admission based on candidate choice and fulfillment of their eligibility criteria, guidelines, domicile criteria, applicable reservation policies etc.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

1. Candidates in possession of BAMS/ BUMS/ BSMS/ BHMS/Graded BHMS degree or Provisional BAMS/ BUMS/ BSMS/ BHMS Pass Certificate recognized as per the provisions of the IMCC 1970/HCC 1973 Act and possess permanent or provisional registration certificate of BAMS/ BUMS/ BSMS/ BHMS/Graded BHMS degree qualification issued by the CCIM/CCH/state board/universities/deemed universities and have completed one year of internship or/are likely to complete the internship before the date of counseling, may apply for AIAPGET 2017 through online application registration system through website www.aiapget.com

Candidates found to be ineligible at any stage of AIAPGET 2017 will not be permitted to appear in the examination or counselling. In an unlikely event of any ineligible candidate appearing and/or being successful in the AIAPGET 2017, the result/ candidature of such candidate shall be cancelled and/or are deemed to be cancelled.

2. Requests for appearing in AIAPGET 2017 from candidates completing internship after date of counselling or having qualifications that are not recognized by the competent authority shall be summarily rejected. Candidates are further advised not to canvass for the same.

Candidate who are completing their internship after counselling or likely to complete after counseling need not apply in AIAPGET 2017 as they shall be ineligible to participate at any stage of the admission process.

3. Registration and /or appearance in AIAPGET 2017 do not confer any automatic rights upon the candidate for admission at AYUSH institute /college for MD/MS PG Courses.

4. The dates indicated by candidates in regard to 12 months Compulsory Rotating Internship i.e. starting date, completion date, shall be treated as final and candidates will be required to submit the original Compulsory Rotating Internship completion certificate at the time of counselling.

5. Some of the Universities/Institutions are having regulations that candidates who are already pursuing any PG Course in their University or in another University are not eligible for admission till they complete the course. The candidates who are already pursuing PG Courses either through All India Quota or State Quota and are applying for a seat under All India Quota/State quota seats may confirm the eligibility conditions of that University in this regard. MoA/AIIA shall not be responsible if such candidates are refused for admission. Such candidates may opt for the subject and the college at their own risk and cost. The eligibility criteria will be as per CCIM/CCH regulations and notifications of Ministry of AYUSH, Govt of India.

EXAMINATION FEE: AIAPGET 2017 Exam fee Amount

Rs. 1250/-(For SC/ST/PWD (PH) candidates)
Rs. 1750/-(For General/OBC candidates)

The above fee is inclusive of examination fees. Please note that Information Bulletin will not be sold separately. Information Bulletin shall be available at website www.aiapget.com in pdf format.

SCHEME OF EXAMINATION:

i. The examination shall be of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) delivered on computer based platform (CBT).

ii. The exam comprises of 100 Multiple Choice Questions with single correct response. Time allotted is 90 minutes.

iii. Marking: 01 mark will be awarded for each correct answer and 0.25 marks shall be deducted for each wrong answer.

Syllabus: The syllabus for the exam shall comprise of subjects/knowledge areas as per the Graduate Level Education Regulations of respective discipline issued by CCIM/CCH. Kindly refer to the CCIM/CCH for complete syllabus document.

TYPES OF RESULT: AIIA/MoA shall be declaring the results as a combined merit list for All India (Open / Other states seats) / different States / Union Territories/Universities/Deemed Universities /Institutions seats

TYPES OF MERIT LIST:

All concerned States / Union Territories/Universities/Deemed Universities /Institutions shall advertise to invite the application from the candidates appeared in AIAPGET 2017 for admission to the seats available for AYUSH PG courses under different disciplines/categories approved by the concerned authorities.

The concerned States/university/concerned authority as per applicable Regulation and/or their eligibility criteria, guidelines and applicable reservation policies will prepare their own merit list based on AIAPGET 2017 result for counselling and further admission process.
