Method of Selection: Candidates who are interested in joining these courses at Rajah Muthiah Medical College, Annamalai University, for the academic year 2017-2018 must have secured the minimum qualification score in National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) held on 7th May 2017 conducted by the National Board of Examination, New Delhi. The candidates should apply and also appear for the counselling to be conducted by the Selection Committee, Directorate of Medical Education, Government of Tamil Nadu, Kilpauk, Chennai, the dates of which will be announced by the Selection Committee.
Security Bond:
(i) Candidates selected for admission and his/her Parent / Guardian will have to execute an Agreement Bond during admission. Failure to execute the Agreement Bond will lead to cancellation of Selection.
(ii) The seat vacated by the Candidate on re-allocation and subsequently if the seat is filled before the last date of admission as directed by the MCI is Rs. 10,000/- (Service Charges)
(iii) The seat is resigned by the Candidate and subsequently if the seat is filled before the last date of admission as directed by the MCI is Rs. 10,000/- (Service Charges)
(iv) The seat vacated / resigned by the Candidate after counselling period and the seat is not filled before the last date of admission as directed by the MCI is Rs. 28,04,370/- (Bond breakage fee Rs. 5,00,000/- + First Year fee Rs. 5,54,370/- + remaining fee for the entire programme Rs. 17,50,000/-)
(v) Penalty, in case candidates resigns after final round of AIQ / State Counselling is Rs. 28,04,370/- (Bond breakage fee Rs. 5,00,000/- + First Year fee Rs. 5,54,370/- + remaining fee for the entire programme Rs. 17,50,000/-)

Method of Selection: Candidates who are interested in joining these courses at Rajah Muthiah Dental College, Annamalai University, for the academic year 2017-2018 must have secured the minimum qualification score in National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) held on 7th May 2017 conducted by the National Board of Examination, New Delhi. The candidates should apply and also appear for the counselling to be conducted by the Selection Committee, Directorate of Medical Education, Government of Tamil Nadu, Kilpauk, Chennai, the dates of which will be announced by the Selection Committee.
General Instruction:
1. The candidates are informed that ragging in any form is totally banned/prohibited and anyone found guilty of ragging and/or abetting ragging is liable to be punished appropriately. Attention of the candidates is invited to the Notification of the Regulations 2009 issued by the Dental Council of India in this regard. The students are required to give an undertaking at the time of admission.
2. With regard to any dispute arising in relation to admission, examinations, remittance of fees, etc., the place of jurisdiction for the purpose of filing a suit or preferring a complaint or taking any legal proceedings against the Annamalai University, will be Chidambaram Town only.
3. No certificate will be issued, unless the candidate has cleared all the arrears of fees etc., due to the University.
4. All the candidates selected for the admission for the Annamalai University has to execute a bond in the format prescribed by the University before admission to Course Compulsorily. (Format is available on University Website: www.annamalaiuniversity.in).
5. Tuition fee for each academic year should be paid well before the due date, failing which a fine as prescribed by the University will be charged. The Candidate shall not be permitted to appear for the University Examination without clearing the Tuition fee arrears.
6. Tuition fee for the entire programme together with arrears, if any, shall be payable by the student before Transfer Certificate is issued.
7. No certificate will be issued, unless the candidate has cleared all the arrears of fees etc., due to the University.
8. Caution deposit shall be refunded on application after adjustment towards any dues from the student. Application for refund of caution deposit should be submitted within one year of completing the course.
9. With regard to any dispute arising in relation to admission, examinations, remittance of fees, etc., the place of jurisdiction for the purpose of filing a suit or preferring a complaint or taking any legal proceedings against the University, will be Chidambaram Town only.
10. Original Certificates submitted at the time of admission are not returnable till the end of the Programme. Before the certificates are surrendered for admission, the candidates are advised to have with them attested copies of mark lists or other certificates that may be required for applying scholarships etc.
